Northside Community Service provides a community transport service for eligible clients who are unable to access public transport.  Transport is provided for medical appointments, shopping trips and community-based social activities.  An ‘eligible’ client is someone who has difficulty in accessing public transport for numerous reasons.

Transport is provided in the form of cars and station wagons for single person trips and a wheel chair accessible mini bus for multiple passengers.

Medical appointments

Transport to and from medical appointments can be arranged by calling us on 6247 5757. Emergency medical appointments can be arranged on the day.

Shopping

Four bus trips operate on Mondays and Thursdays to and from Dickson shops to allow clients to pay bills, do their banking, attend to any needs at the chemist, buy groceries and transport them back home.  To be included, please contact us on 6247 5757 before your planned trip, subject to availability.

Social Groups

For social groups please contact the group’s coordinator on 6162 2901 to discuss what group activities are available and when they occur.
