Facilities hire
Northside Community Service has various rooms for hire at two venues in the Inner North of Canberra – the Majura Community Centre in Dickson and Corroboree Park in Ainslie.
The facilities are available for regular and casual hire by community groups, not-for-profit organisations and private individuals.
Examples of current use of the facilities include:
- Meetings
- Yoga
- Martial Arts
- Church services
- Concerts
- Exercise groups
- Seniors gatherings
- Dance groups
- Forums
- Dinners
- Birthday Celebrations
- Trivia nights
- Weddings
Please note that none of the facilities are available for birthday parties between the ages of 13 and 25

A sizable venue with high ceilings and a parquetry floor, suitable for larger functions up to 150 people.

A smaller venue, fully carpeted, suitable for meetings, small training groups and seminars for up to 35 people.

A spacious venue suitable for larger functions of up to 100 people

A smaller venue which opens out onto the park and public barbeque areas that is suitable for up to 60 people.
A range of rates is charged for use of the facilities, including rates for Not-for-Profit* and Public Benevolent Institutions* and a small surcharge applies to Friday afternoon, Saturday, Sunday and public holiday bookings. Please note that rates are subject to change without notice.
* To obtain either of these rates you must provide a copy of the ATO certificate supporting this status.
