Food for Thought
Participants of this social group share in the planning, preparation and serving of a nutritious morning and afternoon tea, and lunch.
There are many activities that are enjoyed by all group participants including singing and music appreciation, cards and community outings, all of which are agreed upon by the group. Volunteer assistance forms a large and important part of the coordination of this group. Food 4 Thought is continues to grow and develop to give clients a better opportunity to learn about each other, and more importantly to learn about food and nutrition by planning the menu, organising the preparation and serving the meals to fellow group members. Participants also join together to decide on the activities and guest speakers for each month.
