Majura Social Group
This group has an emphasis on social inclusion for women from culturally and linguistically diverse backgrounds who meet for morning tea and enjoy a variety of activities. The focus of Majura Social Group has undergone change in recent times, with the Group becoming more community focused. For instance, the Group has been actively participating in the Uplift Bras project, which involves the members of the Group collecting unwanted bras to donate to women in the Pacific Islands. Majura Social Group will continue to access many of the events on offer around Canberra, with outings planned once a month. Participation costs $2.00.
