Support with Housing

Assistance is available for financially disadvantaged older people (generally 60 years of age or older) who are homeless, at risk of homelessness or living insecurely in their current accommodation. There are a number of situations where this service could be of assistance:
  • Supporting you in accessing and maintaining secure and affordable housing;
  • Support and advice with related financial and legal services;
  • Moving house or removing clutter;
  • Organising temporary or ongoing cleaning and personal care needs;
  • Linking people to other NCS services such as transport, the shopping bus, social groups or 1-1 social support; and
  • Accessing support from other community service providers.

Anyone can apply for assistance under this Program or may be referred by others including friends, family, doctors, hospitals and other community service providers.

To apply for assistance or make further enquiries please contact the Case Manager on 6173 6914.
