Transport
Northside Community Service provides a transport service for eligible clients who are unable to access public transport. Transport is provided for medical appointments, shopping trips and community-based social activities and comes in the form of cars and wheel chair accessible wagons for single person trips as well as a wheel chair accessible mini bus for multiple passengers. Transport to and from medical appointments can be arranged by calling us on 6247 5757. Transport to emergency medical appointments can be arranged on the day depending on available spaces.
Shopping
Shopping buses are available Monday - Friday operating to Jamieson Centre in Macquarie (Belconnen), Gungahlin Town Centre and Dickson shops. Shopping trips allow clients to socialise, pay bills, do their banking, attend to any needs at the chemist and buy groceries. To be included, please contact us on 6247 5757 before your planned trip.

For social groups please contact the Social Groups Coordinator on 6173 6916 to discuss what group activities are available and when they occur.
Making an Application
An ‘eligible’ client is someone who has difficulty in accessing public transport for numerous reasons. To assist us register you as an ‘eligible’ client please complete the electronic Application Form.
