Social Support
Northside Community Service offers a range of services that assist people to remain connected to their community. These services include:- Accompanied shopping including grocery shopping, help to carry bags, transport to and from venue, and assistance with unpacking of groceries;
- A staff member or volunteer to shop for people who are unable to do so themselves;
- Banking and help with forms;
- Transport for people who require additional assistance to attend appointments in the community;
- Support accessing activities of interest in the community; and
- Social visits in home.
