Sports Expo
These Expos are opportunities for local sports clubs in our community to demonstrate the services they provide. For children and young people, it’s an opportunity to learn more about what’s available in their area, try out a new sport, and – most importantly – have fun!
On Friday 11 February, in collaboration with our partners at Capital Region Community Services, we held the first Sports & Recreation Expo for 2022.
These Expos are opportunities for local sports clubs in our community to demonstrate the services they provide. For children and young people, it’s an opportunity to learn more about what’s available in their area, try out a new sport, and – most importantly – have fun!
After such a long time affected by COVID-19, it was wonderful to be in a space where the community could gather, work together, and support each other. For children and young people, who have sacrificed a great deal during this time, it was a particularly great event.
Huge thanks to the amazing Northsiders who worked so hard on this event – well done!
