Director (Aged Care)

Northside has an opportunity for a Director (Aged Care) to join their team in Dickson on a Full-time, Permanent basis.

The Director (Aged Care) is entrusted to lead our Aged Care program in line with the strategic vision and in adherence to regulatory standards. In this capacity, the Director will ensure the consistent delivery of culturally inclusive services, placing a strong emphasis on ethical practices and continuous quality improvement. Accountant

Northside now has a fantastic opportunity for an Accountant to join their team in Dickson on a full-time, fixed-term basis (12-months).

Reporting to the Executive Director, this position is responsible for all areas of accounting. The role will work closely with the Assistant Accountant and Administration & Operations Assistants to ensure the timely and efficient delivery of Northside’s financial function. This will involve the management of accounting systems, including payroll, month-end processes and reporting, preparation of annual financial audit, and preparing reports. In addition, this role will also provide accounting support and assistance to the leadership team.

Occupational Therapist (Aged Care)

Full-time

Northside now has an opportunity for an Occupational Therapist (Aged Care) to join their team in Canberra on a full-time, Fixed Term (12 months) basis.

Under the supervision of the Aged Care Manager, the Occupational Therapist focuses on client engagement and entry into Northside Aged Care programs, with a specific emphasis on services provided through the Community Assistance and Support Program (CASP), Commonwealth Home Support (CHSP), and Home Care Package (HCP) programs. The role collaborates closely with the Aged Care team to ensure a seamless and positive experience for clients, from initial enquiry to service commencement, delivery monitoring, and feedback collection.

In addition to these responsibilities, the role plays a crucial role in providing comprehensive occupational therapy services. This includes conducting client assessments, developing intervention plans, delivering therapy services, and monitoring client progress. It also coordinates appointments and maintains effective communication among clients, other healthcare professionals, and relevant stakeholders.

Early Childhood Educator – Yurauna Early Childhood Centre

Full-time

Northside is has an exciting opportunity for a part-time Early Childhood Educator at Yurauna Centre (Monday-Thursday, 30.4 hrs/week). Full-time hours might be available on Fridays and during CIT breaks at other Northside centres.

This role supports Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander children’s learning and wellbeing. The role will aid in crafting a curriculum centered on Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander perspectives and build strong ties with families.

Financial Controller

Northside now has an opportunity for a Financial Controller to join their team in Dickson on a Full-time (Part-time arrangement can also be considered), Permanent basis.

The Financial Controller will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the Finance department and corporate services including financial processing, payroll services, budget and costing, venue hire, tenancy and front office. The role will ensure compliance with Northside’s policies and legislative requirements, and effectively manage the function within budgetary constraints. Working closely with the Executive Director (Client and Corporate Services), the Financial Controller will provide financial, resource, and business management for the department.
