Northside Community Service (NCS) and Belco Art Centre invite families to be part of this free event that aims to boost children’s participation in sports and recreation in our community! The 2023 Sports and Wellbeing Expo will be held on Friday 10th February from 3:30-6:30pm at Amaroo Oval in which various sports and recreation activities will be showcased by local clubs and community groups. This expo not only encourages children to register with local sports and recreation activities but also allows local clubs to give out information about their activities and to register kids for their programs. It is also an opportunity for children to come and try activities they have never participated in before. This event is managed by NCS in collaboration with Belco Arts Centre and this initiative is possible with funding provided by the ACT Health Directorate Health Promotions Grant. Therefore, get active, and come and connect and have a go with local sporting clubs, fitness groups and active lifestyle organisations at the Celebrate Gungahlin Sports and Wellbeing Expo. It’s the perfect opportunity to connect with the sport or club that will bring you joy and keep you active in your community. Whether you’re into team sports, fitness classes, meditation or the great outdoors, there will be something on offer to deepen your connection to your region.
